On the 13th of August we'll all meet outside of our shop at 6.15pm for a hilly, scenic road ride.
Here's the route:
We'll ride down Barrack hill to the traffic lights and turn right to the roundabout and turn left, over the bridge past The Station Café Bar until we turn right up Theakston lane. At the junction we'll turn left, then right to Hudswell. We'll ride through the village, over the moor top into Downholme. Then we'll turn left to Half penny house. At the junction we'll turn right along the tank road, all the way to the cross roads and turn right over Wipperdale moor and drop into Grinton. At the junction we'll turn right and head back to Richmond. The overall distance is around 25 miles and is classed as a hilly ride. All are welcome, all we ask is that you are capable of riding this distance with some hills along the way!
