Our wonderful Father Arthur

June 22nd, 2021

As many of you may know Dad has had trouble with his Back aswell as the fractured Pelvis since the awful hit n run which happened in January 2019. He is now unable to Cycle as his left leg has suffered with horrendous nerve damage and it is not possible to turn the pedals like it used to be, so Dad is currently no longer Cycling. We have been thinking how we can get him back on the road again, as for Dad fitness is a bonus, turning pedals and seeing the hills is what he loves to do.
We have come up with the idea of a Tandem and Scott taking him out, that way he is not on his own and doesn't have to worry so much about turning the pedals, they would then be working as a Team and still able to ride together.
Where we fall short is that Tandems are a rare in these trying times and so sourcing one, is proving difficult. We are currently trolling Facebook marketplace, Ebay and anywhere we think of. But this is where our lovely Customers and Friends can also help us, by keeping an eye out, and most importantly not telling Dad anything about it, as we want it to be a surprise. He has now not been able to ride the bike at all since November last year, and this would be amazing just to see him on the road again. The Turbo Trainer is just not possible as he isn't enjoying it.
Thanks everyone
