Caygill bike shop rides…

November 2nd, 2025

We have an absolute corker planned for our next weekend daytime ride!
On the 8th of November we'll all meet at our shop at 9am.
We'll chat about the day ahead whilst we enjoy coffee's and tea's before we set off.
Have a look at the map, but here's the route in full:
Richmond, Kirby hill, Gayles, Dalton, Newsham, Barningham, THE STANG, TANHILL, West stonesdale, Keld, Thwaite, Muker, Gunnerside, Low row, Healaugh, Reeth, Richmond.
The overall distance is around 52 miles, and is very scenic and hilly!
The ride will be led by Lou, with assistance from Chris Bethell.
All are welcome, all we ask is that you are capable of this distance which incorporates two proper hill climbs. (The Stang and Tanhill)
We look forward to seeing you all on the 8th, for what I'm sure will be a bike ride to remember.
Please note:
This is an informal social ride and not a professionally guided one.
Everyone is responsible for their own safety and responsible for their own equipment (bike). Everyone should look out for each other, and most importantly we want everyone to enjoy themselves! If you haven't yet signed a liability waiver, please make sure you sign up on the day.
